The Man in the Middle

The Man in the Middle:

8.12.15

Genesis 2:16 the Lord commanded the man...

Genesis 3:11... Have you eaten? I commanded...... Not eat

Revelation 22:14 blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the Tree of Life

From beginning to end, obedience is the one thing required! From Genesis to Revelation. 

Disobedience is what cut Adam and Eve off from fellowship with God.  Today, disobedience is what cuts man off from God even still.

Andrew Murray said it well: "From beginning to end, from Paradise lost to Paradise regained, the law is unchanged:  It is obedience that gives access to the tree of life and the favor of God"

Don't forget the middle of the story.  There was a Man in the middle of all this!  The King of Glory took on the form of man and gave His life as a ransom to restore paradise for you and for me.

Adam and Eve ruined it for mankind.....Christ made a road in the dark wilderness that remained, paving the way to Paradise regained!

All we have to do is obey, to come to Him, to accept the gift from The Man in the middle.
